Sneak Preview 2010 New Release Delbard Roses

Edgar DegasTM

“How exciting it is to see another great “Painter Series” rose come through from Delbard of France. It’s has been a couple of years since we saw the wonderfully bright ‘Alfred Sisley”. Now another impressionist French Painter is added to this rose collection……”.Edgar Degas”.

A much softer toned flower than others in the range; with feminine semi-double blooms which are very camellia like in shape. Tones of amber yellow, soft raspberry to rich pink flecked and splashed like a painter on his canvas. Each bloom is unique in color. And look how well it flowers across the whole of the plant! In our rose fields we have been watching this one for 8 years, and as you can see in the photos we think it is one of the best Delbard have produced! We hope you enjoy this New Delbard Painter as much as we have. Click here to see more.

Chateau VersaillesTM

Chateau Versailles came to us at Rankins roses 7 years ago, and over that time we have watched this beauty perform and flower magnificently to become one of our favorites. New in the Delbard color range, apricot-peach tones soften to pale cream at the outer petal edges; its double blooms of wavy petals hide a wonderful secret: “Perfume” Great notes of freesia, apple and rose blend to make a sweet perfume worthy to make Chateau Versailles a new “Grand Parfums” rose.

In addition Chateau Versailles shows great style as a plant in its floribunda hedging habit and exceptionally shiny leaves. Better still as you can see in the pictures, Chateau Versailles creates the most beautiful bouquet for a vase in your home.

Together the two new Delbard roses for 2010 continue the great tradition of why we are having “a love affair with French Roses”. Click here to see more
