Alfred Sisley
$20.00 ea
As one of Frances great Impressionist Painters during the 1870’s, Sisley painted the beautiful snow bound streets of Paris, the Seine in flood, to the Thames at Hampton Court. His works became invaluable accounts of pure impressionism of the times. Along with Pissarro, Monet, Matisse and Renoir, together they symbolized the wonderful art revolution that was Impressionism!
This world of Impressionism continues today, and is represented in the wonderful colors of Roses, with the French Rose breeder ‘Delbard’and their ‘Painters Collection’
Alfred Sisley follows the Delbard tradition set down by the classic roses, ‘Henri Matisse, Camille Pissarro, Paul Cezanne, Maurice Utrillo’ and the glorious ‘Red Intuition’.
Alfred Sisley the rose bears all the swirling colors and brush strokes of its predecessors, tantalizing burnt salmon-oranges splashed with creamy-whites, no two roses are alike. With age the blooms deepen in color, the orange tones take on darker antique-tan shades. As a plant (approx 1.2m tall) Alfred Sisley shall bloom repeatedly en-masse, flowering with so much color that when planted as a hedge or as standards you can hardly see foliage. The double blooms are up to 15cm across and unfurl themselves not unlike camellia flowers. As with the other painted roses in the series Alfred Sisley is very hardy and resistant to disease, and loves our hottest weather.
After winning a Gold and Silver awards in France, we are sure you shall also find this rose a masterpiece. (DELSTRIJOR)
Cote d'Azur TM
$18.00 ea
Cote d’Azure conjures up the sun drenched sapphire-blue warm waters of the French Riviera. From Monte Carlo and Nice to Cannes and St Tropez, this is where the rich and famous come to play, a winter retreat with golden sun and sands.
And from these romantic images Delbards bring us another fragrant Golden rose, to add to the Grand Parfums Collection.
Wonderfully large, bright yellow-gold double blooms are held high on long stems above the plant. The exuberant color can be seen above all other flowers in the garden!
Cote d’AzureTM has huge 15 to 17cm wide flowers, which exude a glorious soft rose fragrance and expresses itself with notes of citrus and berries.
This sweet fragrance coupled with its long stems makes Cote d’Azure a perfect rose for the vase: either as a large bunch of golden blooms or placed amongst a mixed arrangement as a highlight.
A lover of the sun herself this rose adores the heat of Australia’s’ spring/summers. Mulch well over the hot months and Cote d’AzureTM will repeatedly show off her best flowers. The plant shall grow into a neat rounded shape of about 80 to 100cm.
Planted in groups, the effect shall dazzle all rose lovers, and hopefully the romance of the Cote d’Azure shall rub off on all who see and smell her… (DELZINSCH)

Sorbet Fromboise TM
$18.00 ea
Sorbet FromboiseTM (delsorb) is another wonderful Painters Collection rose with its individual blooms showing swirling colors of strawberries and cream as the name implies. Each bloom is unique with its painted brush strokes, but when seen en masse with their large clustered arms of flowers, the effect of pinks and creamy whites is superb.
Another hardy disease free rose, Sorbet Fromboise grows into a rounded shrub with a very bushy habit, which helps the repeat flowering performance flower right to the ground.
A perfect hedge when planted 80cm apart, even the dog will have a hard time getting through this superb screen.
Height 80 – 120cm (DELSORB)
